PAGENAME in a nutshell
Slow, tough, hard hitting, the Wold Guardian is a melee brawler that does its job and can shield guard. There's not that much to say about

It is the highest armoured heavy in faction but also the lowest def.
Trivia
Combos & Synergies
* Bradigus Thorle the Runecarver fixes almost all the problems with the Wold Guardian. A feat for speed, and makes it hit harder.
* Baldur the Stonecleaver and especially Baldur the Stonesoul give free charges for fury management. The Stonesoul in particular works well with the Guardian as he loves stacking toughness.
* Kromac, Champion of the Wurm is an apparently odd choice as the Wold Guardian doesn't benefit from his feat. On the other hand hyper-aggressive works really well with shield guard to give the Wold Guardian some extra speed.
* Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress or, more normally, the Blackclad Wayfarer - Hunter's Mark is an excellent threat range extender that provides free charges.
* Shifting Stones - they can teleport it as fast as it can run, or (more importantly) further than it can charge.
* Blackclad Stoneshaper - a damage buff on a melee brawler is awesome. Pow 20 knockdown fists hurt.
* Chuck Dogwood - +1 to hit is always useful on targets who can’t be knocked down. Also puppet strings helps mitigate bad rolls
* Well of Orboros Hyper Aggressive and shield guard stack nicely.

Drawbacks & Downsides
* It's slow and easy to hit.
* It's not that good at wrecking heavies.
* the Woldwarden is cheaper and more tactically flexible - circle doesn’t really leverage slow and armoured.

Tricks & Tips
* Boost the first hit to make sure to knockdown your opponent. Then auto-hit everything after that.
* The push is optional. Make sure not to Ram your way out of control range.
* If you're really careful you can pinball, pushing a model and bringing you in range of another.

Lore

Wold guardians are constructed by the druids of the Circle Orboros to serve their warlocks as walking shields. With thick stone and wood bodies that can suffer tremendous damage, the guardians are perfect defenders. Enemies that venture too close find themselves smashed to a pulp beneath tree trunk fists that come crashing down with the force of a battering ram.
