==={{PAGENAME}} in a nutshell===
Dozer & Smigg are a combined arms warbeast who also offer a support role while advancing and shooting into the enemy. They're effectively a variant of the [[Dire Troll Blitzer]] that trades in the Slugger for a Khador [[Destroyer]]'s Bombard. This gives Dozer & Smigg a longer range, and potentially more damage to multiple targets if working with either iteration of Gunnbjorn.

It could also be argued that Dozer & Smigg are the hardest to kill troll heavy trading 4hp for +2 Def vs [[Mulg the Ancient]]. The two warbeasts do very different things, but if you are simply looking for a hard-to-kill anchor don’t dismiss this dynamic duo.

===Combos & Synergies===
Warlock Combos
* [[Captain Gunnbjorn]] and [[Brigadier General Gunnbjorn]] obviously synergize with Dozer & Smigg, providing extra damage dice through their bond.
** Additionally, Captain Gunnbjorn adds in Kill Shot field marshal, and guided fire giving Dozer & Smigg a potential of 2 each 4" AoEs in a turn with boosted to hit rolls and the blasts doing boosted POW 10 damage.
** Brigadier General Gunnbjorn offers a slightly different package but can score two additional ranged attacks with "Unload" and Relentless Barrage.
** Lucky Shot directly benefits Captain Gunnbjorn, but not Brigadier General Gunnbjorn.
* [[Jarl]] - as with the Swamp Troll swift hunter allows you to Tokyo drift in melee when combined with dual attack
* [[Madrak3]] - Dozer & Smigg are fantastic with shield guard with their +1 arm over their brethren.

* Anything with an AOE would like Lucky Shot.
** [[War Wagon]] - Lucky Shot's bonus to hit on the Pounder can be ''really'' useful with its large Quake.
** [[Hearthgut Hooch Hauler]] - Same as the War Wagon but for the Cask Bomb. Sadly it does not increase the accuracy of the sprays as well.
** [[Dire Troll Bomber]], [[Pyre Troll]], [[Gubbin]], all have two AOEs which benefit, and [[Grissel Bloodsong, Marshal of the Kriels]] has 3 shots.
** [[Pummeler Crew]] and [[Sea King]] have additional AOEs to which Lucky Shot applies.
** [[Trollkin Barrage Team]] can only have one model affected, but that could be the model making your CRA.
** [[Pyg Tank]], [[Leadfoot & Tredz]], Rorsh of [[Rorsh & Brine]], [[Hutchuck, Ogrun Bounty Hunter]], [[Flubbin]], [[Farrow Razorback Crew]] all have an AOE.
** A [[Mariner]] or [[Mule]] under [[Raluk Moorclaw, the Ironmonger]] all have an AOE, and are friendly faction in Vengeance of Dhunia.

* [[Dire Troll Mauler]], or [[Pyre Troll]] for the melee damage buff to let Dozer & Smigg fight more effectively.
* [[Pyg Lookouts]] or solos in Kriel Company can provide an additional +2 rat, bringing you to RAT 10, never hurts.

===Drawbacks & Downsides===
* 17 points makes Dozer & Smigg one of the most expensive warbeasts.
* POW 15 fists are lightweight in melee against most heavy warjacks and warbeasts.
* it’s difficult not to compare him to the [[Dire Troll Bomber]] who costs the same, has better offense at the cost of utility and defense. The bombers animus is also more widely appreciated. This leads to most people preferring double bombers with either version of Gunny, but there is something to be said for Dozer + Bomber.

===Tricks & Tips===
*Considering he's got a bond with Gunnbjorn1, Dozer and Smigg can really benefit from the spells Gunny can throw at him and turn that bombard he carries into a threat. Under the effects of Snipe, Guided Fire, and Lucky Shot, and the aiming bonus you get a Rat 10 Rng 18 arcing fire AOE with boosted attack and boosted blast damage. Alternatively, if he gets into melee and kills something, Gunny's Field Marshall Kill Shot allows him to shoot his bombard twice per turn.
* Move in and use the dual attack to blow up [[Paingiver Beast Handlers]], the [[Choir of Menoth]], or other squishy support models.
* You can declare a trample power attack and advance your SPD in inches +3 and then still shoot thanks to dual attack.
* Cycle the animus from a [[Dire Troll Mauler]], [[Pyre Troll]], [[Slag Troll]], or even [[Rök]], to kill something in melee, then switch to Lucky Shot to blow something up far away.
